Beholding Him

     Beholding Him

"But we all, with open face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord".  2 Cor. 3:18.

Let us stand before Him directly, to be with Him where he is, and that we might behold His glory, that was His prayer (John. 17), and let us believe that the Father and the Son will come to us and dwell in us, fully, directly in fellowship one-on-one with us in the inner man. ("We will come to him and make our abode with him", John 14:23.) And again from Rev. 3, "Behold I stand at the door and knock, and if anyone hear my voice I will come in to him and sup with him, and he with me."

We stand by faith directly in His presence, that is what the true life is all about, this direct presence to presence relationship with Him.  Let us not have anything or anyone that comes between that direct communion, indeed we need nothing or anyone in between us.  "....and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.  And these things write we unto you that your joy may be full. I John 1:3, 4.

Let us come boldly to the throne of Grace, let us not doubt that as believers we can have that direct communion with Him, our heart and sight directly to His heart and sight. "We look at Him and He looks at us" as this quote from early tradition tells us. Take the Holy Name of Jesus into your heart. Hold it there in your constant focus. The Name of Jesus will become that well of living water in you through the Presence of the Holy Spirit (no one can say Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit), and will guard you from many onslaughts. Be bold to take your place standing in His presence, He will reward your dedication to this with an abundance of His Personal communion dwelling with you.--------------
