A Message from One of His Creatures ??
On a recent drive through the Cloudland area of NW GA, I actually saw one just like this crossing the highway and heading into the woods. A sighting like that is quite rare. I did a little research on Mtn. Lions and found that they are solitary in nature. I keep pondering on this.................

Tis interesting, that picture of the mountain lion. There are mountain lions, bobcats, and coyotes who have returned to the Appalachian mountains from GA to Maine. Indeed, they are beginning to feed on people's pets. Many folks in the mountains are having to protect their smaller pets with enclosed pens so their pet can enjoy the outdoors.
Thank you so much for your comment. I was just so amazed when I saw that beautiful big cat. I am glad I was in the car and not walking.
We saw a cougar one evening a few years ago as we were going for a walk, less than 75 yards from the house, watching us for several seconds before disappearing into the woods. Needless to say we were rather taken aback. They are very solitary and I never expected to see one in person, certainly NOT in our front yard! We also have bobcats and coyotes as well. We live 5 miles from the nearest town and only a couple of miles from Red River. It's like Wild Kingdom out here, lol.
